1. Adoption of the principles

The community formally commits to the Blue Communities principles.

2. Regional or national accompaniment

Support is provided by a regional or national network where available.

3. Recognition as a Blue Community

The community is publicly recognized as part of the movement.

4. Ongoing networking and monitoring

Communities exchange experiences while actions and commitments are followed up over time.
